Texas Nudist Camp Closed: Owner Arrested
(This was an ASA camp and Dilworth is not on the ASA Caution List.)

On Oct. 21, 1991, Ravenwood, an American Sunbathing Association Nudist Camp just outside Ft. Worth, Texas, was closed down by Parker County Sheriffs Department. Police entered Ravenwood with a search warrant after they learned that from July 1990 to October 1991, an 11-year-old male had been sexually assaulted at the camp by John Dilworth, the owner.Dilworth, 44, a credit supervisor for GMAC (General Motors Acceptance Corporation) was arrested after the boy told investigators that for over a year and a half Dilworth coerced him to engage in various sex acts, including oral sex. Dilworth is charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault involving a child under the age of 14. Bond has been set at $50,000 for each count. His wife Diane was not arrested.
On November 1, 1991, Kenneth Wayne Kito, a security guard for Vanguard Security in Ft. Worth, was also arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault involving two other children, both under the age of 14. The boys told police they were assaulted by Kito at Ravenwood. Kito is currently being held in lieu of $200,000 bail for each count. Kito was a visitor at, and possible member of Ravenwood. Information regarding Kito's involvement came to light during the investigation of Dilworth.
Parker County Sheriffs Department public information officer Allen Beadel said, "We didn't go out there or make the arrest because it was a nudist colony. We went out there because of the charge that a sexual assault had taken place there at the camp." Beadel described Dilworth and Kito as "Two opportunists who, through their affiliation with this nudist camp, apparently seized an opportunity to molest children." During the search of the camp, police confiscated numerous photographs from the office that depicted nudist families.
